FOUNDER

Allie Jett

Allie Jett, JLG’s Founder, started her real estate career at age 16 in the Cobb County Deed Record Room when she started running titles for her family’s mortgage business. She continued working in various capacities for that mortgage company until she entered the University of Georgia’s School of Law.

Since graduating from UGA Law in 2003, Allie has spent her legal career representing governmental, individual, and corporate clients in a wide range of real estate-related disputes on both the trial and appellate levels as well as general counseling regarding best practices and risk mitigation outside of litigation. She has extensive experience in litigating contract, title to real property, ad valorem property tax, probate estate, and boundary/easement disputes. Allie often provides title insurance claims and coverage counseling. She also frequently acts as a court-appointed Special Master in quiet title proceedings. Allie is admitted to the bar of all State of Georgia Courts, Northern District of Georgia Federal Courts, and the state courts of South Carolina.

Allie has been named a “Georgia Rising Star” by Super Lawyers Magazine every year from 2012 to 2017 (a special award to those attorneys under 40 years old) and has been named a Georgia Super Lawyer every year from 2018-2021. Allie has been rated AV/Preeminent by Martindale Hubbell, the highest ranking available for both ethical standards and subject matter expertise.

Allie serves as a member of the Executive Committee of the Real Estate Section of the State Bar of Georgia, the largest section of the state bar.

A frequent lecturer and presenter on real estate related subjects, her topics focus primarily on issues related to title litigation and ad valorem property taxation.

Allie lives in DeKalb County, Georgia with her husband Patrick and her ragtag crew of rescue dogs affectionately known as the Jett Pack.
